Experience

Places I've worked at

Scholarship Universe Web Developer August 2012 - Present
At ScholarshipUniverse I work with another student developer and a lead developer to continue building and maintaining a live web application that reaches out to 40,000+ students at the University of Arizona. I also work as part of a project development team to coordinate website & database development to determine project scope and limitations. The tools I use are Visual Studio, Telerik, SQL, ASP.Net, and C#.
Microsoft Corporation Explorer Intern May 2012 - August 2012
While at Microsoft, I had the good fortune of working with amazing people. I interned in the Windows Phone Division where I worked in a team of three interns the entire summer to design, develop, and test a tool for internal use by the WP Business Intelligence team. This included hands on experience with telemetry data mining, SQL databases, SQL Server Analysis Services Cube creation, and Excel data reporting. Among the tools used were C#, Visual Basic, SQL, and SSAS Cubes.
International Business Machines Systems Verification Tester August 2011 - May 2012
At IBM, I tested for a software called Tivoli Storage Manager. I executed tests to validate program code met the design specs. I worked with development software engineers to review functional designs, ran automated test cases, and worked with other development tasks as assigned. This Co-op included hands on experience with various operating systems, software products, and storage devices such as disk, tape, optical, TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, and leading edge SAN evironments.
U of A Scholarships OfficeOffice Assistant August 2010 - December 2011
My first job. Ever. It was during my first semester of college when I was hired to start working for the University of Arizona's very own Scholarships Office. Most of my work involved filing and organizing scholarship documents, working with excel spreadsheets, updating students' records, and communicateing effectively with local scholarship foundations. I also got to do some front desk customer service for a while, which I greatly enjoyed!
